The study of agronomy has been ever-present for centuries. Back before technology and much innovation, this was one of the most valuable skills to attain. If one thinks about it, it still is very important to understand how and why plants grow. Moreover, weeds have a tendency to take over the land. If a farmer is growing corn per se and weeds start using the nutrients in the ground for themselves, the corn will die. Thus, agronomists have to fix the problems and collaborate with farmers on what the best call to action is in any given situation.
